Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis is probably the best description of where we’d arrived.

When the world stopped during the pandemic, so did the live side of the band. But we kept writing. We ended up creating around 30 new songs before whittling them down to the tracks that became this album.

The result is darker, heavier and more intense than our first album. The songs aren’t specifically about the pandemic, but there’s no escaping the atmosphere of the time in which they were written. There’s a sense of tension, uncertainty and darkness running through the record, alongside some of the biggest and most ambitious songs we’d written.

For us, Metamorphosis isn’t just another album. It’s a record of change — both for the band and for the world around us.
